The Holy Innocents (1988) is a novel by Gilbert Adair. A French/British/Italian film adaptation of the novel, The Dreamers, was made in 2003. The book has only been printed in hardcover and paperback only once. Thus, remaining copies of the original novel fetch hefty prices on auction websites such as eBay. The book is, in fact, still in print, but only published under the name 'The Dreamers'.[1]
